The Cougar Stars Dance Team was founded in 1999 under the direction of Mrs. Wendy Hankins when Cinco Ranch High School opened. Members of the dance team enjoy performing at pep rallies, football games, basketball games, dance competitions, and other special engagements. Additionally, the Cougar Stars hold an annual Spring Show in late April.
The Cougar Stars Dance Team continues to maintain a tradition of excellence under the leadership of Mrs. Stacie Zimmerman. Our team exemplifies Cougar Pride through our actions, words, and performances. We work nearly year round to be continual learners of dance. Members of the dance team are expected to maintain high moral, ethical, and dance standards.
Before becoming a member of the Cougar Stars Dance Team, candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent knowledge and technique in various forms of dance as well as be willing to accept the moral responsibilities attached to becoming a Cougar Star.
